Located 500 meters from the beach, in Malo Park, the Dunkirk Aquarium presents a beautiful diversity of aquatic fauna and flora species. Our freshwater aquariums house, among other things, piranhas and turtles. Finally, our "North Sea" aquariums recreate the ecosystem found nearby and are home to species such as the dogfish and the blenny.

Currently, around thirty freshwater species and approximately 120 saltwater species populate our aquariums. A display case is dedicated to showcasing the shells of our coastline and educational activities are offered to schools and leisure centers throughout the year.

Open since 1978, the Aquarium now welcomes more than 40,000 visitors per year.
