Located on the beach of Boulogne-sur-Mer, Nausicaá has the largest pool in Europe. Much more than an aquarium, Nausicaá is the National Sea Centre, a place dedicated to discovery and raising awareness for the protection of the marine environment.

It has the largest aquarium in Europe, ranking it fifth in the world hierarchy. It is also the largest European center for coral breeding.

With over 800,000 visitors on average per year, it is the second most visited tourist site north of Paris after Parc Astérix.
