Maréis is a sea fishing discovery center that includes a museum and aquariums and is located in Étaples in the Pas-de-Calais in the Hauts-de-France region.
Maréis is an interpretation center on the practice of artisanal sea fishing which allows you to discover the life of the fishermen of Étaples, the fish industry, and the seabed of the English Channel and the North Sea.

This discovery takes place in two stages: the first is a guided tour led by a former sailor, and the second is a self-guided tour. Visitors can explore aquariums housing approximately 500 fish, a stingray tank that children can touch, and a trawler.

Maréis also offers culinary workshops, which have just been awarded the "Hauts-de-France, European region of gastronomy 2023" label, and fun and cultural "Little Sailors" workshops for young people.
