Located in an unusual 1000 m2 space, a former vaulted water reservoir, the Aquarium Refuge in Limoges invites you to discover more than 400 aquatic species from all over the world: fish from our rivers, exotic freshwater species, surprising aquatic reptiles and brightly coloured tropical fish.

Beyond the visit, our establishment is also a committed refuge. We welcome and care for abandoned, seized or entrusted animals from individuals and organizations, in order to offer them suitable and sustainable living conditions. Raising awareness, protecting and caring for animals are at the heart of our mission, to enable everyone to better understand and respect aquatic biodiversity.
